Volt is immediately hiring for Warehouse Cold Chain Clerk in Carlsbad, Ca.
As a Warehouse Cold Chain Clerk you will:
Be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing temperature-sensitive finished goods while ensuring strict adherence to temperature control and regulatory compliance standards. This role supports inventory accuracy, product integrity, and timely order fulfillment.
  • Receiving & Inventory Control
    • Validate and receive incoming products from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and quality
    • Accurately enter received goods into inventory management systems
    • Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Storage & Compliance
    • Store products in designated locations based on required temperature conditions (e.g., refrigerated, frozen, controlled ambient)
    • Monitor and ensure storage conditions meet compliance and regulatory standards
    • Maintain proper documentation for temperature-sensitive products
  • Order Fulfillment & Shipping
    • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with IATA and company compliance standards
    • Use appropriate insulation and packaging materials to ensure temperature integrity during transportation
    • Verify order accuracy prior to shipment
  • Customer Support & Issue Resolution
    • Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Identify and report product, shipment, or inventory issues to management promptly
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies
    • Follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Additional Duties
    • Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned

This is a full-timebopportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Experience with shipping temperature regulated product
  • Willingness and ability to obtain IATA Certification
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including cold storage conditions (refrigerated and/or freezer environments)
  • Previous warehousing or logistics experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness and quality performance
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with computers and inventory systems
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and management
  • Availability to work 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Able to pass a drug test & Background

Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
