What is the easiest job in logistics?

Entry-level roles in logistics, such as warehouse associate or delivery driver, are often considered among the easiest jobs in the field due to minimal specialized skills and training requirements. These positions typically involve straightforward tasks like packing, sorting, or delivering goods and may require basic physical fitness and attention to safety protocols.

How do I get into supply chain with no experience?

Entry level cold chain logistics roles often require minimal experience and focus on skills like organization, attention to detail, and basic understanding of supply chain processes. Gaining certifications such as OSHA or forklift licenses, and demonstrating reliability and willingness to learn, can improve chances of entry. Starting in warehouse or delivery positions can provide relevant experience and opportunities for advancement in supply chain careers.

Will SCM be replaced by AI?

Supply Chain Management (SCM) roles, including those in cold chain logistics, are increasingly incorporating AI for tasks like demand forecasting and inventory optimization. However, human oversight remains essential for decision-making, problem-solving, and managing complex logistics operations, so SCM jobs are unlikely to be fully replaced by AI in the near future.

How to start cold chain logistics?

To start a career in cold chain logistics, gain knowledge of temperature-sensitive transportation and storage processes, and consider obtaining relevant certifications such as OSHA or HACCP. Entry-level roles often require basic understanding of logistics operations, attention to detail, and the ability to operate refrigeration equipment or tracking systems. Gaining experience through internships or entry-level positions can also help build skills in this specialized field.
