Title: Savory Production Cook

Department: Savoryย 

Reports to: Operations Manager

Schedule: Full-time

Exempt/Non: Non-exempt


POSITION SUMMARY

This position is an entry level position involving slicing, dicing, chopping, mixing, assembly and portioning of ingredients, as well as packing the products, that supports production in the Savory department as it relates to Colectivo Coffee's Mission and Values.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Refer to Daily Prep list at the start of each day.
  • Understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, walls, and all other equipment used to complete Daily Prep list.
  • Store food properly to prevent spoilage.
  • Being able to, after being trained, prepare all daily prep food that meets specifications, including breakfast foods
  • Having a high standard of food quality excellence while performing normal kitchen functions.ย 
  • Being able to perform all kitchen cleaning duties at a high level of competence.
  • Must be able to fill out and take responsibility for check lists.
  • Employee must work at an appropriate pace that meets company time standards.
  • Pack products based on orders (mainly PM shift)
  • Works in accordance with all federal, state, and local safe production facility requirements.
