Job Responsibilities
·        Perform low-voltage installation and service work safely and efficiently
·        Pull and terminate low voltage wiring and cables
·        Install raceways, conduit, and system devices
·        Troubleshoot low-voltage electrical circuits
·        Program, configure, test, and commission Fire Alarm and Security Systems
·        Install and service CCTV, Access Control, and Telephone Entry systems
·        Read and interpret electrical and building blueprints
·        Ensure compliance with State Fire Marshal, NFPA, NEC, and local codes
·        Communicate project updates, changes, and concerns to supervisors
·        Deliver excellent customer service on every job site
·        Complete accurate daily documentation and reports
Qualifications
Entry-Level Candidates:
·        Willingness to learn the low-voltage and life-safety industry
·        Strong work ethic and professional attitude
·        Good communication and customer service skills
·        Basic computer skills
·        Valid driver’s license
·        Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Experienced Technicians:
·        Experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Fire Alarm Technician, or Security Systems Installer
·        Strong troubleshooting skills with low-voltage systems
·        Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, CCTV, and Access Control
·        Ability to work independently and lead tasks when required
Preferred Certifications & Skills (Not Required)
·        NICET Certification (Fire Alarm Systems)
·        Mississippi State Fire Marshal license
·        Experience with NEC and NFPA codes
·        Conduit bending and raceway installation experience
·        Previous electrical or technical trade experience
