Compensation

Non-Driver Rates

  • PCA: $18.65 per hour
  • HHA: $20.50 per hour

Driver with Reliable Vehicle Rates

  • PCA: $20.00 per hour
  • HHA: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
  • Provide support with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Ensure client safety and proper use of equipment, including wheelchairs, oxygen equipment, side rails, and other assistive devices
  • Accurately document services provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Report changes in client condition, incidents, or concerns to the RN Supervisor promptly
  • Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and their families
  • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of client information and records
  • Adhere to agency dress code, personal hygiene standards, and professional conduct expectations
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment to quality care
  • Participate in supervisory and care team processes as required by New York State regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse

Qualifications

  • PCA or HHA certification preferred but not required
