LOCATION: 1275 MEDLINE PL. MCDONOUGH, GA. 30253

Responsibilities:

·         Provide general support to the maintenance department filling in when training allows, and is approved, to ensure continuity of operations.

·         Maintain a high level of professionalism, fostering collaboration, effective problem-solving, and strong working relationships with facility management and team members.

·         Complete painting assignments as required, including working at heights (e.g., ladders) and in varying environmental conditions such as cold temperatures.

·         Maintain and replace forklift batteries, performing routine inspections and maintenance as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation.

·         Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including (but not limited to) inspecting fire extinguishers, logging monthly equipment hours, and checking emergency lighting and eyewash stations.

·         Conduct regular building maintenance to ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

·         Accurately complete work orders and maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities performed.

·         Participate in training for various pieces of equipment in order to safely maintain, inspect, and potentially repair them.  

·         Support emergency response efforts as required.

·         Successfully complete required annual emergency response physicals, including lung capacity and hearing tests as required.

·         Individual technicians who show advanced ability may be asked to perform or assist with entry-level refrigeration tasks such as completing refrigeration logs under supervision, provided appropriate training and certifications have been completed.

What We Are Looking For:

The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.

·         Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

·         Skills:

o   Previous maintenance experience preferred.

o   Knowledge of general hand and power tools.

o   Experience with preventative maintenance preferred.

·         Operate scanners, tablets, radios, phones, computers, and other essential warehouse equipment as required.

·     Additional work hours may be requested by management to help manage employee production, projects, and or special events.

·         Possess strong arithmetic and reading skills.
