What we need: 

The Production Coordinator is an entry-level contributor that works to help solve problems of limited complexity and scope. This role will provide operations and administrative support to the Manufacturing function and external and internal customers.  

What you'll do: 

  • Follow documented procedures and processing standards to perform duties related to operations, purchasing, vendor support/customer services, and administrative duties to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and completeness. 

  • Code all invoices and submits for payment.  

  • Research questionable invoices and resolve as needed.  

  • Coordinate all raw material deliveries to meet plant demands and maximize plant efficiency.  

  • Coordinate through Logistics team the on-time delivery of finished goods and scheduling of production runs. 

  • Track expenses for budgetary purposes.  

  • Enter orders to purchase raw materials and supplies in SAP.   

  • Complete month end workbook accurately each month.  

  • Complete set-up new vendors and part numbers in AS400/SAP and follow up as needed.  

  • Maintain Plant Contractors List and send information for New Contractors packets. 

  • Actively participate in group activities and collaborate with team. 

  • Provide basic analysis and apply knowledge from experience or standard procedure to solve problems. 

  • Perform other duties as needed.  

What you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 

  • 0-2 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 

What you're good at: 

  • Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.  

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. 

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. 

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. 

What else? 

  • Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor. 

  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time. 

  • Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required.  

  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.  

  • The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.  

  • May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. 

  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. 

  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
