SOFTWARE DEVELOPER(ENTRY LEVEL)

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

An entry-level web designer has advanced computer skills and understands both computer programming and graphic design. As a web designer you create the look, layout and features of a website for a business or individual. Entering this field you should be knowledgeable about major programming and design software. Your work will have you coding the internal structure of a website, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing websites or adding design elements.


EXPECTED SKILLS :-

As a web designer you will be creating the structure and layout of new websites and updating existing websites. This work requires you be very familiar with the standard computer programming languages: html, CSS and Javascript. These computer programming languages create the code structure of a website to which you then can add design and text elements. The design stage requires additional software knowledge. Among the commonly-used software suites is Adobe Creative which is a collection of design programs that includes Photoshop, Flash, InDesign and Illustrator.

RESPONSIBILITIES :-

Building, maintaining and troubleshooting websites are the primary duties of a web designer at any level. After a website is built it still must be tested and continually updated as needed. This maintenance work includes creating back-up files of important documents, solving problems in coding and updating a site to exist on a new platform, such as software for mobile devices. Solving coding issues is highly detail-oriented work and you must be very familiar with coding language in order to spot mistakes to repair and make a website work smoothly.
