Job description

A growing precision manufacturing company in Cary, IL is hiring CNC Machinists for its expanding operation.

We are looking for skilled machinists who can do more than simply load and unload parts. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with machine setups, production machining, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, and maintaining tight tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:

• Perform machine setups and changeovers

• Operate CNC lathes and/or mills

• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T

• Monitor quality and hold tolerances as tight as .001'

• Make G-code edits as needed

• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

• Support continuous improvement and production goals

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC machining experience required

• Experience with HAAS, Okuma, Doosan, or similar equipment

• Strong blueprint reading skills

• Understanding of GD&T

• Ability to hold close tolerances

• Experience editing G-code preferred

• Setup and troubleshooting experience strongly preferred

• Experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments is a plus

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Friday overtime as needed

Approximately 50-hour workweeks

Compensation:

$26–$31/hour target range

Up to $35/hour for highly qualified candidates
