Collaboration Services Engineer I Hybrid with SCIF access to San Antonio TX, Rome NY, Baltimore MD or DC area EXPANSIA – Air Force/Space Force BU / Full Time / Hybrid apply for this job Start Date: Immediate  EXPANSIA is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) delivering exceptional strategy and technology integration services to the U.S. Federal Government. We support several Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Agencies across the CONUS.  OVERVIEW  Full-time/Permanent Employee   Location: Hybrid in San Antonio TX, Rome NY, Baltimore MD or DC area (1-2 days in SCIF)  As a Collaboration Services Engineer I, you will assist in supporting cloud-based systems and services by following established procedures and detailed instructions. Under close supervision, you will contribute to the configuration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of cloud environments and collaboration tools. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to develop foundational skills in cloud computing while working in a team-focused environment supporting mission-critical systems.  The proposed salary range for this position is $89,830 - $105,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. Employment benefits include health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave and retirement and savings.  RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and oversee the organization’s cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, application architecture, and management  * Design and implement cloud-based solutions by setting up front-end and back-end platforms and developing operational delivery systems to ensure a high level of platform availability  * Support and maintain cloud-based applications in support of a DoD mission  * Establish and maintain cloud storage and computing systems, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards, including identity and access management  * Conduct detailed discovery analyses and deliver repeatable strategy, architecture, and planning workshops  * Optimize cloud performance by monitoring systems, managing updates, ensuring robust connectivity among remotely located servers, and supporting automation  * Provide assessments of current-state architecture and propose recommendations for future-state architecture  * Lead consultative engagements with other engineering teams, vendors, and support staff to resolve issues and ensure mission continuity  * Utilize a cloud-first mindset to help customers realize the full potential of cloud-based solutions.  * Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded  * Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area  * Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction  * Completes personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on)  * Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients  * Performs other related duties as assigned    KEY QUALIFICATIONS * Clearance: Active TS/SCI  * Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Intelligence/Analytics/IT or Similar Discipline with 0 - 2 years of relevant experience.     * Experience administrating Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)   * Experience with one or more scripting/coding languages (Bash, Python, etc.)   * Having earned one of the following certifications; CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GICSP, SSCP, or GSEC  * Comprehensive understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in cloud computing.  * Strong understanding of software engineering principles, configuration management, and security controls  * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes  * Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines  * Willingness to learn and grow in a structured, team-oriented environment  * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures  * Interest in collaboration technologies and cloud service operations  PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS * Internship or project experience with cloud computing, DevOps, or collaboration tools  * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts, containerization, or basic networking  * Certifications in one or more of the following:  AWS Certified Solutions Architect  Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect   Atlassian Cloud Organization Administrator or similar  EXPANSIA is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities  apply for this job Jobs powered by
