Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and collaborative Account Executive, Advanced Diagnostic Solutions to join our team in Maryland/Delaware market. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive growth for our product portfolio across multiple stakeholders and buyers. You will effectively communicate the clinical and economic value of our offerings, coordinate the customer buying process, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

As the Advanced Diagnostic Solutions- Account Executive, you are responsible for selling all portfolio solutions and total account management activities in hospitals and clinical labs within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain and exceed overall sales plan for the DS product portfolio, including Manual Microbiology, Blood Culture, TB, ID/AST, Molecular Diagnostics, as well as Lab Automation and IT solutions.

  • Develop and implement territory and strategic account sales plans involving multi-level customers to gain consensus and grow the book of business.

  • Develop account strategies while working closely within a coordinated team selling model, including instrument specialists, application specialists, and marketing, etc.

  • Manage the sales process across clinical laboratory, infectious disease clinicians, pharmacy, value analysis, and hospital administration.

  • Effectively deploy clinically relevant product features, benefits, and economic justification to define the value of our offerings.

  • Secure contract renewals and new opportunities while being in the field 3-4 days per week, meeting minimum daily expectations for in-person visits with documentation.

Experience & Education

  • BA/BS in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; MT (ASCP) or Microbiology degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of documented toptier sales performance (top 20%) in laboratory products required.

  • At least 1 year of clinical laboratory and/or hospital sales experience preferred.

  • Combination of clinical market, financial, or technical selling experience required.

There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges for this role are generally $85,000-$110,000, experience depending, plus an $85k sales incentive plan. Company car is provided, as well as medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k, etc.
