Job description

We are seeking an entry-level to mid-level Structural Design Engineer to work in the structural department of our Roswell, GA office. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in structural engineering. General responsibilities include performing designs for a variety of project types including residential and commercial structures. The candidate will also assist in design and drafting of larger, more complex structural projects.


Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Masterโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with emphasis in structural design required
  • Engineer in Training Certification or ability to sit for exam in six months
  • Experience with current AISC Manual, ASCE7-16, ACI 318-14 and 2018 IBC
  • 1+ years of experience in structural design using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gauge metal
  • Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with structural analysis software (RAM, ENERCALC, and STAAD for example)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; Experience with Revit is a plus
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
