We are continuing to expand our anesthesia services and invite you to join our collaborative team of more than 150 anesthesia providers. Working within a care team model, our CRNAs are valued clinical partners who contribute to exceptional patient outcomes through expertise, teamwork, compassionate care, and innovation.

Beyond clinical practice, Cedars-Sinai offers opportunities to grow as a leader, educator, and advocate for the profession. CRNAs are encouraged to:

Precept SRNAs and support the development of future anesthesia providers
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Engage in peer review and professional practice activities
Serve on the Advanced Practice Council and other interdisciplinary committees
Participate in Grand Rounds, journal clubs, case conferences, and continuing education programs
Contribute to a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong learning

In accordance with delineated clinical privileges, the CRNA is responsible for providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care, including but not limited to:

Performing comprehensive pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations
Developing and implementing individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the anesthesia team
Delivering anesthesia care across a variety of procedural and surgical settings
Monitoring patients throughout the perioperative period and responding to changing clinical conditions
Providing post-anesthesia evaluation, follow-up, and patient care

Education Requirements:

  • Masters' Degree in Nursing preferred.

  • Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice Preferred.

Licenses:

  • California registered nurse license and CRNA license required.

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.

  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.
