Atlas Rental Property is one of the fastest growing property management companies in the Southeast. We currently manage approximately 2000 rental properties in North and Central Alabama as well as Chattanooga, Tennessee with plans to continue expansion in new and adjacent markets. We are seeking a Field Operations (Moveout) Technician to assist with the turnover or "make-ready" of residential residential rental properties in the Birmingham Metropolitan Area. This individual will be part of a diverse maintenance division with a lot of opportunity for career advancement. Candidates must have a working vehicle (truck or SUV preferred), a valid driver's license, automobile insurance and be able to pass a criminal background screening.

The hourly wage for this role is $20-22 per hour as this is an entry level role with room for growth
A company vehicle is not provided

Responsibilities Include:
  • Changing locks
  • Move-out walk through inspections
  • Prioritizing budgets based on cost and value of repairs needed
  • Section 8 repairs
  • Diverse knowledge of (basic) home repairs such as
    • Cleanup and trash removal
    • Interior paint and patching
    • LVP repair/replacement
    • Hanging and/or replacing doors and windows
    • Basic carpentry (stairs, porches, fence repair)
  • Additional field and administrative duties as assigned 
  • Functional knowledge of technology (phone apps, computers, softwares)
Experience/Technical Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required 
  • Previous property management or maintenance experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Electrical and carpentry skills are a plus 
The compensation package for this role includes an hourly wage of $20-22 per hour depending on experience, with potential for quarterly performance bonus after six months in role and mileage reimbursement in accordance with the national average. We offer a comprehensive benefits package with insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision and optional electives) beginning on the first day and a generous PTO allowance. We also offer 401K with employer contribution after 1 year of service and 8 paid holidays per year.
