Engineer/Technician SolidWorks – Direct Hire with Benefits
Manufacturing Engineer/Technician to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a candidate with solid, hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment who can contribute immediately and work independently with minimal supervision. Only Candidates that meet all qualifications will be contacted.
This full-time position (40 hours per week) follows a standard schedule of 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications (Minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or work experience that exceeds 3 years.
- Minimum of Three years of working engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks (AutoCAD experience considered if willing to advance in SolidWorks quickly)
- Must be Experienced importing DXF files
- Strong geometric and spatial reasoning skills with the ability to create and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes including production flow, layout, assembly, and manufacturing equipment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) for analysis and reporting
- Broad exposure to sheet metal fabrication technologies and related manufacturing techniques
- Quality-driven mindset with strong attention to detail

Essential Responsibilities
- Convert engineering concepts into detailed solid models using SolidWorks
- Create part and assembly drawings and documentation for existing and new products
- Ensure all design models, drawings, and bills of materials meet customer and company requirements
- Monitor progress of First Articles
- Contribute to product planning within area of expertise
- Support Sales, Manufacturing, and Customers as needed
- Communicate effectively with management in a timely manner
- Ensure quality policies and procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
