JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Analytics & Innovation professional will support strategic accounting and business initiatives by leveraging data analytics, process automation, systems expertise, and innovative technologies. This role will partner with Accounting, Commercial, IT, and Project teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen data quality, enhance reporting capabilities, and support large-scale transformation initiatives.
The position will serve as a key contributor to project-based work, including system integrations, modernization efforts, business process improvements, automation initiatives, and analytics development across the Accounting organization.Job Profile Summary
Performs activities related to preparing system documentation, assisting system users, and providing day-to-day support and assistance to Business Units.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Maintain system documentation including but not limited to:
    • Monitor application vendor defects/requests through their tracking system and follow up on resolutions
    • Maintain SharePoint information
    • Follow up on any issues raised by audits
  • Provide user support with activities including but not limited to:
    • Maintain individual SharePoint sites
    • Log-in problems
    • Maintain user system security including creating user setup and terminations
    • Assign roles and responsibilities/system security
    • Re-setting passwords
  • Provide functional application support including but not limited to:
    • Basic triaging of application issues
    • Testing all system changes, enhancements, and new features
    • Basic report development
  • Prepare training materials and provide user training

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, computer science, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience

Work Experience
  • Experience using desktop applications for spreadsheets and text such as Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experiential/working knowledge and/or training relative to:
    • Desktop application/hardware (as specified by position)
    • System security administration
    • Interpersonal communications
