The Role

Are you a recent college graduate or early in your career? We're looking for a Analyst Commercial Services to support our US Marketing and Trading team.

In this role you will actively focusing on reconciliation, analysis, and communication with counterparties to ensure effective execution of the business. Reporting to the Supervisor Commercial Operations, this role will collaborate with the Commercial Services and Marketing teams to properly capture and account for monthly business activity, maintain regulatory records, and ultimately help inform decisions to help grow the business.

 

What You Will Do

  • Lead monthly settlement process for US Marketing business (pipe and truck). Manage fee and accrual entry into Right Angle and reconcile all volume, rates. Ensure accuracy and timeliness for a smooth monthly settlement process.
  • Reconcile truck tickets against station logs on a daily basis and communicate with counterparties as needed to ensure accurate data is captured and recorded timely, from purchase to sale.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Scheduling, and Operations, to facilitate efficient product movement and help to optimize logistics.
  • Oversee division order process, reporting to the state and Texas Rail Road Commission (TRRC) and ensuring compliance with tax, legal and commercial.
  • Responsible for ensuring documentation is received, booked, and forwarded to accounting when necessary.
  • Reconcile and confirm all incoming and outgoing volumes through all Gibson assets as well as 3rd party inventory locations.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
