Business Development Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX | Type: Full-time | Schedule: Monday-Friday

Role Purpose
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships that support appropriate patient access to IVX Health infusion services. This role engages physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and administrative staff at hospitals, specialty practices, and other healthcare organizations to educate on IVX services and facilitate referral pathways.

What You'll Do
Territory Development & Referral Growth
  • Develop and expand referral relationships within your assigned territory by identifying new provider opportunities, engaging specialty practices, and maintaining consistent outreach to existing accounts.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff within priority specialties to establish referral pathways and increase patient access to IVX infusion services.
  • Plan and execute structured territory activities, including pre-call planning, provider visits, and outreach scheduling, to ensure consistent engagement and effective territory coverage.

Provider Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, nurses, practice administrators, referral coordinators, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient referral processes.
  • Serve as a key liaison between referring providers and IVX operational teams to facilitate referral coordination, patient onboarding, and ongoing provider communication.
  • Foster professional relationships with pharmaceutical representatives and industry partners in accordance with company policies and applicable healthcare regulations.

Community & Market Engagement
  • Represent IVX Health through professional networking opportunities, community events, and industry meetings to increase awareness of infusion services among healthcare providers.
  • Partner with marketing and internal teams to coordinate outreach initiatives and communicate relevant service updates to referral sources.

Territory Planning, Reporting & CRM Management
  • Accurately document referral activity, provider engagement efforts, and territory insights within designated CRM systems.
  • Submit required reports, activity documentation, and expense reports within established timelines.
  • Monitor referral trends, provider feedback, and local market activity, sharing key insights with sales leadership.

Compliance & Professional Conduct
  • Conduct all business development activities in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, company policies, and IVX Health values.
  • Uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in all interactions with healthcare providers, industry representatives, and internal teams.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
