Job description

We are looking for an Organized, Go Getter with solid time management skills and attention to detail to join our Bookkeeping Department!

We offer competitive benefits such as profit sharing, 11 Holidays, Medical Insurance, Sick leave, Vacation, and dental stipends. There is employee parking onsite, but we are also located walking distance the orange line.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Entering client data from source documents into our bookkeeping software, Intuit Quicken
  • Producing bookkeeping reports and packaging those reports into books along with source documents (will train)
  • Reconciling cash to Quicken and multiple source documents.
  • Logging progress of work
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly sales tax returns
  • Processing sales tax payments

Qualifications for this position:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Solid bookkeeping or accounting experience would be a plus.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort with computers and number input
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Conscientious about time frames when necessary

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
