We would like a quick learner, with research and analysis skills and good communication skills (written and verbal). Accounting degree not required, but having accounting experience, certificate, or classes is extremely beneficial.
 
Overview
We are seeking five Accounting Specialists to support the accounting team with day-to-day operations, system cleanup, and project-based work. This role focuses heavily on Oracle ERP, reconciliation, and general ledger support. The Accounting Specialist will help maintain accurate financial records, and will work on mainly re
 
This position is open to candidates with bookkeeping, AP/AR, or general accounting experience. Ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys reconciliation, analysis, and helping teams get caught up on critical accounting tasks.
 
Key Duties & Responsibilities
There is multiple positions, the team will be able to support specific projects based on individual strengths and experience
  • Provide general accounting and operational support
  • Perform data entry and system cleanup in Oracle
  • Review transactions to ensure items are booked to the correct ledger
  • Compare and reconcile data from different areas of the system
  • Identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments
  • Analyze account balances and assist with reconciliation efforts
  • Review short pays, freight charges, and fixed assets (as needed)
 
Required Experience & Education
  • Accounting experience preferred, but open to entry-level candidates and recent graduates
  • Internship, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or general accounting experience a plus
  • Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred, but not required
  • Strong interest in developing hands-on accounting skills in a corporate environment
