Entry-Level Biomedical Technician!

Job Description

The Representative will be a highly proficient and quality-focused producer of Pre-Operative Plans. This role requires an individual who is committed to meeting team and department production targets through individual production efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Create cases using a proprietary case management system.
  • Review CT Scans to ensure they conform to Surgical protocol.
  • Segment CT Scans with specialized software to produce 3D Anatomical Bone Models for use in Robotic Surgery.
  • Develop Pre-Operative Surgical Plans utilizing the Digital Bone Models for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.
  • Examine CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy in anatomical landmark selection, as well as implant sizing and positioning.
  • Upload completed Pre-plans to field-based personnel.
  • Document all activities following prescribed methods and procedures.
  • Adhere to work instructions to deliver consistent output.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, and general Science.
  • Experience with CT Scans, X-rays, and MRIs.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of work experience or equivalent education (Associate's Degree or above).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or Materialize MIMICS.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
  • Certifications or experience in Radiology (CT, X-Ray, MRI).
  • Certification in Nursing or a related field.
  • Completion of a college-level anatomy course.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Visual acuity of 20/20 vision with or without assistive devices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
