Job description

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Entry-Level BIM Technician / Junior BIM Coordinator on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area engineering consultant. Our client is seeking a motivated Entry-Level BIM Technician who is eager to grow into a BIM Coordinator role. This position is ideal for someone with foundational BIM knowledge who wants hands-on experience supporting project teams while gradually taking on coordination responsibilities. You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure models are accurate, organized, and aligned across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain BIM models using software such as Revit
  • Assist with model setup, file organization, and project standards
  • Support clash detection and coordination efforts using tools like Navisworks
  • Participate in coordination meetings and track issue resolution
  • Ensure models comply with company BIM standards and client requirements
  • Create and manage drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models
  • Help manage model updates, version control, and data consistency
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve design conflicts

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic experience with BIM software (Revit preferred)
  • Familiarity with Navisworks or other coordination tools is a plus
  • Understanding of construction documents and design processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment
Preferred:
  • Internship or co-op experience in AEC industry
