The Center Light Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings to identify client needs, strengths, and challenges.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for sharing and growth.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to integrate treatment efforts and ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Engage with clientsโ€™ families to enhance understanding of the treatment process, offering educational resources and support to promote involvement in the recovery journey.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical counseling standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMHC at Center Light, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds, giving you the opportunity to enhance your cultural competence and adapt your therapeutic techniques to best meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience is mandatory, demonstrating the ability to apply theoretical knowledge into practice.
  • Must possess a valid Massachusetts state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
