Role Overview
We’re hiring a few Assistant Beekeepers to support our field operations team in Fort Meade Florida. This is a hands-on, entry-level role focused on learning the fundamentals of beekeeping while assisting experienced team members with daily hive management and maintenance. No prior experience is required—we provide training.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist experienced beekeepers with hive inspections and routine maintenance
● Support hive setup, construction, and transportation
● Perform labor-intensive tasks such as lifting, loading, and equipment handling
● Help prepare materials and equipment for daily fieldwork
● Follow instructions to support pest management and hive treatments
● Assist with honey extraction and processing activities
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
● Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field
