Entry-level bank graphic designers can start by building a strong portfolio with personal or volunteer projects to showcase their skills. Is AI replacing graphic designers?

AI tools are increasingly used in graphic design to automate repetitive tasks and generate ideas, but they do not fully replace entry-level bank graphic designers. Human creativity, understanding of branding, and client communication remain essential skills that AI cannot replicate. About KYA
KYA is a modern specialty general contractor focused on creating better places through high-impact work across public and community environments. Our team supports multiple brands, business units, and initiatives across construction, specialty services, and strategic growth. Marketing plays a key role in how we bring that work to life, through creative, campaigns, events, proposals, storytelling, and brand execution.
About the Team
Our marketing team is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and hands-on. We work in an open floor plan environment where communication is active, standards are high, and teamwork matters. Position Summary
The Creative Marketing Specialist leads day-to-day execution across creative production, event workflow management, campaign implementation, and content development under the direction of the Marketing Manager. This is a hands-on role for a candidate with strong creative judgment, advanced production skills, and the ability to execute high-quality work with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate thrives in a feedback-driven environment and is comfortable regularly presenting work for review, applying creative direction, and refining deliverables based on manager feedback and best practices. This role is expected to embrace that process and help reinforce a strong standard of execution across the team.
This position requires expert-level Adobe Creative Suite knowledge and strong experience managing creative workflows, event coordination, digital marketing execution, and campaign-related deliverables. The role works closely with the Graphic Designer, supports the Proposal Specialist with proposal-related work as needed, and coordinates event workflows with support from the Marketing Manager and an entry-level Marketing Administrator.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce presentations, sell sheets, case studies, event materials, social media assets, and other marketing materials
  • Prepare polished, on-brand work for Marketing Manager review and approval
  • Maintain strong file organization, revision discipline, production quality, and brand consistency across all deliverables
  • Capture and edit photo and video content for use across events, campaigns, job sites, and internal initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to complete creative work efficiently and at a high standard

  • Support execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, digital, events, social media, and sales support materials
Event Workflow Management
  • Lead planning, organization, and execution of events, trade shows, activations, and related marketing initiatives
  • Own event workflows from planning through completion using Monday.com or a similar project management platform
  • Manage event timelines, logistics, deliverables, materials, shipping, setup, teardown, attendee coordination, and stakeholder communication
  • Serve as a primary marketing lead for assigned events and travel as needed to support on-site setup, coordination, content capture, and breakdown
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date event boards and workflow visibility at all times
  • Help train and guide newer team support in event-related workflows, standards, and execution expectations

  • Lead recurring meetings related to assigned events, production needs, and marketing initiatives
  • Help reinforce high standards of organization, accountability, quality, and follow-through across shared team processes
  • Contribute positively to team culture and work effectively in a fast-paced open office environment
  • Follow the leadership, direction, and final approval structure of the Marketing Manager while demonstrating strong ownership in day-to-day execution
