POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Summary: This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Huntsville, AL. TBE and the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) have been developing medical requirements estimation planning tools since 2001. NHRC's mission is to optimize the operational health and readiness of the U.S. Armed Forces by conducting research and development to affect Department of War (DoW) policy and practice. TBE is seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer (0-2 years) with the right composition of knowledge, experience, and drive to develop software from front-end to back-end. The candidate will contribute to the design and development of the next generation of modeling and simulation tools for DoW medical planning. The modernization effort will transition our planning tools from desktop applications to web applications while integrating with external systems to facilitate seamless and rapid ingestion of external datasets. Position Responsibilities: * Development
* Implement front-end or back-end features.
* Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web application performance.
* Support debugging and troubleshooting of development, test, and production issues.
* Team Collaboration
* Participate in full software development life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, test, deployment) in a CMMI Maturity Level 3 environment.
* Work in a software development team with support from teams of designers, system engineers, testers, and technical writers.
