What are entry level Azure jobs?

Entry level Azure jobs are positions that require basic knowledge and skills in Microsoft Azure, typically aimed at individuals who are new to cloud computing or just starting their careers. These roles often include titles like Azure Cloud Support Associate, Junior Cloud Engineer, or Azure Administrator. Responsibilities may involve assisting with cloud migrations, managing Azure resources, monitoring cloud infrastructure, and troubleshooting basic issues. Employers usually look for candidates with foundational Azure certifications such as the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900). These positions provide valuable hands-on experience and a pathway to more advanced cloud roles.

Is Azure still in demand?

Azure is currently in high demand as a leading cloud platform, with many organizations adopting it for their infrastructure and services. Entry-level Azure roles often require knowledge of cloud concepts, certifications like AZ-900, and familiarity with tools such as Azure Portal and PowerShell, making it a valuable skill set for job seekers in cloud computing.

How to start a career in Azure?

To start a career as an Entry Level Azure professional, gain foundational knowledge of cloud computing and Microsoft Azure services through online courses or training programs. Earning certifications such as the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals can improve job prospects, and practical experience with Azure tools and scripting languages like PowerShell is valuable for entry-level roles.

Entry Level Azure roles typically require some understanding of cloud concepts, but non-IT individuals can learn Azure with dedicated training in areas like cloud fundamentals, scripting, and basic networking. Many online courses and certifications are designed for beginners, making it accessible for those without an IT background to develop the necessary skills.
