Job description

Description:

The Azure DevSecOps Developer supports secure application development, configuration, maintenance, deployment support, operational monitoring, and enhancement of the DD Council reporting portal within the ACL-provided, HHS-approved cloud environment. This role supports application performance, security controls, availability, backup/recovery coordination, defect correction, and transition readiness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support application development, configuration management, defect correction, enhancement implementation, maintenance, and deployment readiness.
  • Configure and maintain application components to operate efficiently in the ACL-provided, HHS-approved cloud environment.
  • Support application-level performance monitoring, issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution during reporting and operational periods.
  • Support security controls, backup/recovery validation, continuity procedures, vulnerability remediation, and ATO/continuous monitoring activities.
  • Maintain documentation, source code, repositories, configuration files, transition materials, and knowledge transfer support as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting secure cloud-based application development, DevSecOps, configuration management, deployment, and operations.
  • Experience with application-level monitoring, troubleshooting, defect resolution, performance optimization, maintenance, and enhancement implementation.
  • Familiarity with Federal security, privacy, FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA, ATO, access control, audit logging, and vulnerability remediation requirements.
  • Experience supporting source code repositories, configuration files, documentation, release coordination, and transition readiness.
  • Ability to coordinate with security, project management, front-end, back-end, QA/accessibility, and Government technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
  • CI/CD pipeline configuration
  • Secret scanning, SAST, dependency scanning
  • Azure App Service or containerized app deployment, if applicable
  • Azure Monitor / Application Insights
  • Azure API Management
  • ADX and Power BI integration support
