OVERVIEW
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Planner to join our Aviation Planning Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Melbourne, FL.
YOUR ROLE
  • Assist in developing and updating Airport Master Plans, Airport Layout Plans (ALPs), and other long-range planning documents.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret aviation data such as passenger activity, aircraft operations, and facility capacity.

  • Support the preparation of planning studies related to airside, landside, and terminal development.

  • Create maps, exhibits, and technical graphics using tools such as Canva, AutoCAD, AviPLAN, and other planning software.

  • Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, FAA representatives, and local agencies as needed for planning projects.

  • Assist with project documentation, including reports, presentations, and stakeholder briefing materials.

  • Support community outreach activities and respond to planning related inquiries.

ABOUT YOU
  • EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years of related experience in airport operations, airport planning, or airport management

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in aviation management or similar

  • SPECIAL SKILLS: Familiarity with AutoCAD desired.

  • PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: Willingness to obtain the AAAE CM certification upon hiring
