FL-Orange County Commissioners-Business Development Division-Compliance Officer
WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Professional office, cubicle.  In-office until fully trained, then Hybrid
DRESS CODE:  Business Attire
DRIVING REQUIREMENT:  10% driving personal vehicle to expos and compliance visits.  Client will reimburse expenses directly with contractor
POSITION OVERVIEW:  This temporary entry-level position provides administrative and compliance support to the Business Development Administrator in monitoring and maintaining procurement and contractual compliance activities for Small Business Utilization. The employee assists with contract documentation, data tracking, compliance reporting in the B2GNOW compliance system, and coordination of administrative tasks related to professional services.

Work is performed under direct supervision and follows established procedures and guidelines to support contract monitoring and compliance functions in accordance with Federal, State, and County regulations.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining procurement and contract administration files.
  • Maintain contract logs, tracking spreadsheets, and compliance databases.
  • Assist with compiling contractor and subcontractor compliance reports. Support monitoring of Small Business Enterprise (SBE)  participation documentation.
  • Assist in preparation of contract documentation including amendments, task authorizations, and supporting records.
  • Coordinate document collection from contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal departments.
  • Assist with preparation of meeting materials for pre-proposal, meetings, workshops, and compliance discussions.
  • Compile data and statistics for internal reports and advisory boards.
  • Provide other support as assigned
