We are hiring skilled Industrial - Automation Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, service electrical and mechanical production machinery, and equipment; in accordance with state and federal regulations, and ready to become a part of a company who believes "our associates are our most important asset".

Hours available:
  • B-shift (Nights) Sunday-Thursday 7:00pm- end of production
  • Training could possibly take place on the A Shift.

Duties and responsibilities: Maintenance Technician
  • Experienced in CNC machining, electrical/mechanical operations, and drive systems
  • Candidates with the ability to work with lays, mills, grinders, shafts, belts, motors, gears, couplings, PLCs, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators will be preferred.
  • Follow the preventive maintenance program and prioritize tasks to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Adjust and revise preventive maintenance schedule based on part life cycle and usage.
  • Practice and encourage two-way communication in the department between all levels of associates.
  • Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of workplace rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Required skills and qualifications: Maintenance Technician
  • High school diploma or GED. A two-year technical degree/military technical training is preferred.
  • 3 years working experience in a Maintenance function is required; with a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical subject areas; including electrical power and distribution.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relative to plant operation and maintenance
  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits and read schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Must be familiar with various types of lubricants and correct application.
  • Experience installing and repairing mechanical drive systems including motors and couplings, belts, chains, gears, clutches, and shafts is preferred.
  • Must be proficient using measurement tools including dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers. As well as the use and operation of shop power tools including lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Experience with welding, use of cutting equipment, metal fabrication, use of simple tools, fasteners, torque and good math skills is preferred.
  • Must have a working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the capability to trouble shoot and repair both systems.
