Job description

Position Summary/Objective
The Bilingual Human Resources Intern will be responsible to support the HR and Safety team members with administrative functions in both English and Spanish. This position is expected to maintain the highest level of customer service both internally and externally.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide translation assistance in both English and Spanish
  • Provide office and clerical support to the Human Resources and Safety team
  • Help with interviewing and recruiting functions for entry level positions
  • Support the safety culture by helping with safety auditing and document updating
  • File paperwork daily
  • Other office and administrative duties as assigned

  • Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English

  • Must exercise the ability to work in a diverse environment with compassion and understanding
  • Ability to switch gears quickly
  • Fluent with all MS Office programs especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time seasonal position of 20-30 hours a week. Schedule is subject to change with or without notice. The hours will be flexible to meet department needs.
Work Environment
The work environment varies between the office, production plant, and warehouses. At times while in the plant you may be exposed to allergens, powered equipment, and loud noises.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Travel
Limited travel will be expected
Education, Skills and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Obtaining an Associate's Degree or higher in Human Resources or related field
  • Previous experience supporting a team of three or more strongly desired
  • At least 2 years of recent office experience in a fast-paced environment
