Alphanumeric is hiring a Biopharm Manufacturing Associate to join our client of over 20 years, a global biopharmaceutical leader dedicated to developing life-changing medicines and improving patient lives.


Pay Rate: $22.00-$23.00/hour

Are you a recent science graduate looking to break into the pharmaceutical industry? This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment while working alongside experienced professionals supporting the production of innovative therapies.

No prior pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is required-just a strong scientific foundation, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

As a Biopharm Manufacturing Associate, you'll support daily manufacturing operations while ensuring products are produced safely, accurately, and in compliance with GMP regulations.


Responsibilities include:

  • Execute daily manufacturing activities by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
  • Accurately document manufacturing activities in accordance with GMP requirements.
  • Dispense both small and large quantities of raw materials.
  • Perform Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) of manufacturing equipment and product tanks.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Author, revise, and support SOPs, deviations, and change controls.
  • Operate within a highly regulated GMP manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Safely handle hazardous materials using established safety procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another scientific or engineering discipline
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of cGMP or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations and documentation practices
  • Experience with upstream manufacturing processes, including media preparation and bioprocess unit operations
  • Familiarity with analytical equipment such as:
    • Vi-Cell
    • NOVA Analyzer
    • Centrifuges
    • Tubing Welders
  • Exposure to PLC, DCS, or HMI systems

Work Environment & Additional Information
  • 100% onsite position based in King of Prussia (Upper Merion), PA
  • Initial 12-month contract with the potential to extend up to 18 months based on business needs and performance
  • This is an Upstream Manufacturing role supporting biopharmaceutical production
  • Candidates must be able to wear a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) as required for the position
  • Following hire, candidates will complete a medical clearance/respirator screening in accordance with OSHA requirements before using a PAPR (Non-SCBA)
