Lawn Doctor is Hiring for a Part Time Shop Assistant for our shop located in the Spokane Valley off Trent and Sullivan. This is an entry level position where training is provided and is ideal for a College Student as the schedule is late afternoon/early evening (Start between 2-3 pm and work till 6-7 pm) with 20-30 hours per week Monday-Friday. Starting wage will depend on experience and skill sets. Responsibilities include being on your feet for the entire shift, washing, vacuuming, cleaning the service trucks and cleaning all of our power equipment, as well as driving our company vehicles filling vehicles & equipment with fuel. Re-stocking vehicles with invoices, water, bags of fertilizer, and other materials needed for servicing customers.
Training is provided
Valid Drivers License is required
Must be 18 years old
Successful candidates should have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to take direction and work independently.
Duties include: Operate a pressure washer, lift 50 pounds, operate small equipment, comfortable with light maintenance and using small tools. Candidates with small engine knowledge, mechanical skills, and good problem solving skills are preferred. Number of hours will depend on availability and skill sets as more hours are available for candidates with mechanical background.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
