Job title: Assistant Project Manager

Location: New York, NY
Compensation range: $60-65 p/hour

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing day-to-day project operations, ensuring smooth coordination between contractors, subcontractors, and project teams
  • Support in tracking project schedules and milestones, identifying potential delays, and helping to develop mitigation plans.
  • Assist in managing project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that all project goals and objectives are met, from budget to timeline and quality control
  • Participate in client and team meetings, preparing progress reports and updates as required.
  • Assist in coordinating inspections and ensuring the project meets all building codes and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction management, with experience working on public projects preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience delivering projects in public-sector environments, such as:
    • Municipal building build-outs or renovations
    • Medical centers / healthcare facilities
    • Higher-education and university buildings
    • Transportation/railroad infrastructure
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
