Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules and logistics plans.
  • Coordinate with the design team and consultants to ensure document accuracy and issue resolution.
  • Assist with permit acquisition, utility coordination, and preconstruction deliverables.

Budget Management
  • Help track project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and compile subcontractor invoices and vendor pay applications.
  • Assist in preparing and managing change orders and cost events.

Team Support
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent to coordinate field and office operations.
  • Help manage subcontractor and supplier relationships through timely communication and coordination.
  • Participate in progress meetings and assist in documenting and distributing meeting minutes and action items.

Quality Control
  • Conduct site walks to monitor quality and scope compliance.
  • Assist with punch list management and project closeout documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to contract documents and specifications.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Maintain and organize project documentation within Procore and other platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support daily and weekly reporting to ensure consistent project updates and transparency.

Risk Management
  • Support safety compliance by working with the Safety Manager.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating potential project risks.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction or related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and terminology.
  • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or in progress).
  • Exposure to preconstruction processes and subcontractor buyout.
