About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you'll support project execution, coordination, and financial tracking while contributing directly to successful project delivery.

What You'll Do
    • Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project execution and administration
    • Support project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project operations
    • Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track follow-up actions [

Budget & Cost Control
    • Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, and change order documentation
    • Support processing of subcontractor pay applications
    • Track project expenses and assist with cost forecasting

Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain project documentation (contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders)
    • Assist in preparing project reports and updates for leadership
    • Ensure documents are accurate, organized, and submitted on time

Scheduling & Procurement
    • Support development and maintenance of project schedules
    • Assist with procurement of materials and equipment
    • Track deliveries and coordinate with field teams to prevent delays

Quality, Safety & Compliance
    • Support enforcement of safety standards and company policies
    • Assist with quality inspections and punch list items
    • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, codes, and regulations

Closeout
    • Assist with project closeout documentation
    • Support final inspections, warranties, and turnover packages
    • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operations
    • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Position Requirements
What You Bring
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
    • 1-3 years of construction or project coordination experience
    • Strong knowledge of project coordination, scheduling, and cost tracking processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Experience with project management tools (Procore, Viewpoint, Primavera, MS Project) preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels
    • Proactive mindset with ownership and problem-solving ability
    • Team-oriented with a commitment to quality work
