CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY: Occupational Therapist / OT (1099 Independent Contractor)

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive contract rates commensurate with experience, paid per agreed terms.

  • Engagement contingent on a background check clearing you to work in public school settings.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • Provide school-based occupational therapy services consistent with each district's service delivery model

  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation of all services provided

  • Provide clinical supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as engaged

  • Develop and deliver in-service and training sessions for staff and families

  • Support OT students and affiliates as opportunities arise

  • Ensure documentation meets Federal, State, and local funding and compliance requirements

  • Support students with physical disabilities, including lifting, transferring, and positioning

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Active Texas OT license, maintained in good standing throughout engagement

  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation

PRACTICAL NOTES

  • Travel to multiple campus locations within your service area

  • Physical demands include standing, stooping, bending, reaching, heavy lifting, and moderate carrying
