Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler
Job Description

Join our team as an Electromechanical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and preparing wires and connectors. This position requires precision and attention to detail, with responsibilities including crimping, cutting, stripping wires, and inserting them into connectors. A strong ability to read blueprints, BOMs, and work instructions is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Crimp, strip, and prepare wires using manual and automated tools with precision.
  • Assemble connectors by inserting wires according to detailed assembly instructions.
  • Perform soldering operations on wires, terminals, and connectors following IPC standards.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials to ensure correct assembly.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all safety and ESD procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in using crimpers, strippers, cutters, and soldering irons.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical documents with accuracy.
  • Attention to detail to consistently produce high-quality work.
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive, hands-on tasks with small components.
  • Experience in assembly, wiring, and schematic interpretation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • IPC Certification (J-STD-001 or IPC/WHMA-A-620) is preferred.
  • Experience assembling military, aerospace, or industrial cable harnesses.
  • Familiarity with ESD-safe work environments.
  • ITAR qualification is required.
