Suncore is hiring entry-level Asphalt Laborers to join our team. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and grow within a family-owned company that values its employees. Things You'll Do 

  • Rake and shovel asphalt.
  • Help equipment operators facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of the machines, equipment, and materials.
  • Measure, mark and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction will be performed.
  • Dump windrows from belly and double belly trucks.
  • Prep construction site, and clean area to eliminate possible hazards.

Requirements 

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Understanding of asphalt paving procedures
  • Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat.
  • Attention and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
