What You’ll Do 

As an Outside Sales Account Representative in our Asian Grocery division, you will be an essential component of our sales team pivotal in expanding our presence in the Orange County market, increasing sales revenues, and contributing to our continued success. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Account Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and expanding our clientele within the food service and grocery industry. This role involves travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and generate leads. 

As an Outside Sales Account Representative in our Asian Grocery division, you will be an essential part of our sales team, expanding our presence in the Los Angeles County and Central California market.  Key responsibilities will be increasing our sales presence and revenue in these areas and building on the current continued success.
Ideal candidates will be responsible for meeting sales goals, quotas and maintaining current customer relationships, and expanding our customers within the food service and grocery industry.   This position will require a deep understanding of the sales process, techniques and current market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities

  • Generating and qualifying leads and outreach: Identifying potential customers through various channels: cold calling, email, social media and face to face meetings.
  • Assessing customer needs: understanding and evaluating needs and challenges of both new and existing customers
  • Growing and maintaining enduring long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Conducting on-site visits to introduce new product lines, process orders, deliver product training, and ensure excellent customer support. 
  • Providing any product demonstration and presentation support to potential clients, highlighting the product’s benefits.
  • Developing a strong business network by attending industry trade shows, conferences, and related events, by building relationships and creating sales opportunities. 
  • Weekly collaboration with the Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure that client needs are met.
  • Working with the internal team to create sales proposals and contracts. 
  • Ensuring that sales data is accurately processed and managed within the company's sales CRM system. 
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports giving insight into sales activities and performance. 
  • Managing customer issues and expectations
 
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven sales experience in the food industry or related field, with a track record of exceeding goals and targets
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or 4 years relevant experience 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM/Sales Management software. 
  • Ability to travel as required by the position. 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  • Must be fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese 
  • Professional working proficiency in Mandarin & Cantonese  (verbal required; written a plus)
