Position Summary
The exterior Facilities Specialist will maintain the cleanliness of all external space, including the facilities' external perimeter, on a daily basis. Personnel, if necessary, may be trained to operate equipment used in the maintenance of convention facilities such as forklifts, compactors, and other maintenance equipment. There are varying hours and shifts available based on event-related activity.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00

This position will remain open until November 13, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain exceptional curb appeal across all venue entryways, glass surfaces, walkways, and exterior walls through routine deep cleaning and upkeep.
  • Conduct proactive ground sweeps of driveways, parking areas, loading docks, and landscaped zones to clear litter, debris, and hazards.
  • Safely operate facility equipment-including pressure washers, compactors, utility carts, and lifts-for surface cleaning and site management.
  • Partner with event staff and facilities teams to prepare, clean, and reset outdoor event spaces before, during, and after functions.
  • Perform daily walkthrough inspections of external areas, identifying and reporting safety concerns or repair needs to supervisors.
  • Execute high-reach cleaning and routine exterior maintenance using ladders and specialized access tools.

Qualifications
  • Experience in facility maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred, though motivated entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Proven ability or willingness to learn how to safely operate pressure washers, utility vehicles, and heavy maintenance equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards for public-facing venue presentation.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding manual tasks, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects.
  • Self-motivated mindset with the adaptability to work independently and adjust hours around shifting event schedules, evenings, or weekends.
