Arc Broward, a well-established accredited, non-profit organization based in Sunrise, FL is currently searching for exceptional food prep workers from our Culinary Arts program to join our growing family. 

For more than 60 years Arc Broward has worked hand-in-hand with our community, changing how people with disabilities and other life challenges are embraced and included.  This critical work ensures that people with disabilities, not only live, learn, work, and play in their communities, but more importantly, thrive. Arc Broward operates at 9 locations and provides 21 programs throughout Broward County, including its two pioneering Social Enterprises - Arc Educates and Arc Culinary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)
  • Meal Preparation: Assists in preparing contract meals in accordance with the daily/weekly menus. Assists in preparing food for catering events, at the direction of the Executive Chef.
  • Supplies and Equipment: Keeps food and beverage service equipment and catering supplies clean and operating efficiently by enforcing adherence to operating instructions.
  • Customer Service: Displays behaviors and attitude that cultivates and maintains relationships with staff, students, vendors, customers and agency co-workers.
  • Safety: Maintains safe, secure, legal and healthy work environment by following and enforcing sanitation and quality of food preparation and service standards and procedures. Ensures sanitation of the kitchen and all service areas..
