Entry Level / Apprentice Pipefitter Opportunities in the Sterling Heights, MI. Area.

An advanced international company in the Sterling Heights, MI. area is seeking several Entry Level/Junior Pipefitters for long-term positions with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Jr. Trades, Recent High School Graduates, or experienced Pipefitters looking for a company that offers excellent pay, medical, and a great home/life balance!

Apprentice Pipefitter rates are anticipated to start in the $18-22/hour range based on each candidate’s experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours.

Qualified Junior Pipefitters should have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • Good basic math skills (“shop math”- basic fractions, decimals, reading a tape measure, etc.) and solid skills using basic tools.
  • Skills reading blueprints is a benefit, but training is available.
  • Manufacturing, CNC Machining, assembly facility pipefitting, or any experience in a manufacturing environment is a benefit.
  • High School Diploma, GED or good academic grades.
  • Open to training and development.
  • Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
