An entry level 2nd shift job typically refers to a position that does not require prior experience and is scheduled during the second shift of the workday, usually in the late afternoon to late evening (e.g., 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.). These roles can be found in industries like manufacturing, warehousing, healthcare, and customer service. Adapting to the shift schedule can be challenging at first, but it often provides opportunities for overtime and may be less crowded than day shifts, allowing for more direct supervision and learning opportunities.
