Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide onsite support for business-critical applications within an Upstream Oil & Gas environment. The role will support corporate, HR, and EHS applications and will be responsible for troubleshooting, incident resolution, integrations, releases, and reliable day-to-day application operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide production and application support for Upstream Oil & Gas, Corporate, HR, and EHS applications.
* Troubleshoot application issues and manage incidents and problems through resolution.
* Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
* Support system and data integrations across enterprise applications.
* Coordinate and execute application releases, deployments, and cutovers.
* Work with business and technical teams to ensure availability and stability of production-critical applications.
* Monitor and support day-to-day application operations.
Required Skills
* Strong experience in Application/Production Support.
* Experience supporting applications in an Upstream Oil & Gas environment.
* Strong troubleshooting, Incident Management, Problem Management, and RCA skills.
* Experience with system and data integrations.
* Ability to support business-critical applications in a production environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
* Must be able to work onsite at Hess Tower in Houston, TX.
