Job Title: Entry Level Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking entry level engineers to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and evaluating industrial control panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical expertise for new product introductions and customer solutions. Recent bachelors level candidates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests for information or quotes (RFI, RFQs).
  • Select and evaluate the suitability of components and conductors based on application and compliance with UL508A standards.
  • Create initial 3D models and Bill of Materials (BOM) for Industrial Control Panel proof of concepts for potential clients.
  • Review and/or generate electrical schematics in accordance with UL 508A.
  • Prioritize jobs and manage multiple project deadlines effectively.
  • Provide exemplary technical expertise on customer products and solutions, demonstrating a competent level of knowledge and hands-on experience across plant-specific products.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), production, and customers with technical expertise.
  • Assist with the inspection and testing of panels.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SyteLine or other similar ERP system.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and customer-focused.

Work Environment

The work environment includes the use of advanced engineering software such as Creo, AutoCAD, and SOLIDWORKS. The role requires effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines. The successful candidate will work in a detail-oriented and customer-focused setting, with a strong emphasis on compliance with industry standards such as UL 508A, IPC-A-620, and NFPA 7

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
