Job description

Location: This position is located in Belmont, MI, USA.
Your Contribution
MAHLE's Quality Engineer is a major contributor within the production of manufactured products and overall responsible for ensuring the manufacturing process will produce a quality product the first time through. As the Quality Engineer you will monitor workflows, create documentation, qualify the product and manufacturing processes ensuring alignment with customer, local, state and federal regulations and requirements. Works with suppliers of materials and services to ensure compliance with all quality assurance specifications. Examine products to determine their quality, engage with customers, and gather product feedback. The Quality Engineer is accountable for leading continuous improvement projects using 6S/lean methodologies in the reduction of waste.
Your Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certification in Sigma Green Belt minimum and/or lean manufacturing a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black-belt Certification preferred
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
