Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.
The Junior SharePoint Developer supports the development, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions in support of the Office of Force Resiliency, Office of Command Climate and Well-Being Integration. This role works under the guidance of senior developers and project leadership to assist with configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and user support.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the configuration, testing, and maintenance of SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and pages under senior guidance.
  • Support the development and customization of SharePoint components such as basic web parts, forms, workflows, and page layouts.
  • Help gather and document user requirements and assist with translating them into SharePoint or Power Apps solutions.
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions prior to deployment.
  • Assist in maintaining existing SharePoint and Power Apps solutions, including minor updates and fixes.
  • Assist internal team members with troubleshooting and technology requests.
  • Support data organization, permissions management, and content structure within SharePoint environments.
  • Help maintain documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and configuration notes.
  • Provide user assistance and basic training for SharePoint and Power Apps features.
  • Participate in team and customer meetings to learn project goals, progress, and expectations.
  • Assist senior staff with tracking changes, updates, and maintenance activities for SharePoint and Power Platform applications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field. A degree can be substituted with a high school diploma/GED + 3 years of additional related work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience directly related to each of the following:
    • Administration and development experience with Microsoft SharePoint and 365 platforms.
    • SharePoint development and administration
    • JavaScript
    • Power Fx
    • MS Power Platform, Power Apps Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI
    • Power Apps configuration
  • Must have certification requirements of IT Position Level IT-1, (per SECNAV M-5510.30) e.g. Security+
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Background Check required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat software.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Possesses experience working in a remote environment, producing technical documentation, presenting briefings, coordinating with team, government personnel, and other major command elements.
  • Experienced in:
    • SPFx, PnP, .NET (VB), ASPX, HTML, SOAP, CAML, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and RESTful communications

    • Client Side Development
    • REST API and Microsoft Graph
  • Must be well organized and an effective communicator with the ability to grasp system concepts and communicate their application.
