Description

The Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring product integrity and compliance with customer requirements. This position supports both internal operations and customer-facing initiatives through rigorous testing, documentation, and collaboration with technical and sales teams. Key Responsibilities -Measure, weigh, and load raw materials into machines. -Monitor mixtures for consistency and viscosity. -Sample, test, and approve incoming raw materials and finished products to meet specifications and customer requirements. -Provide support for manufacturing areas -Perform routine and advanced quality tests, including: Appearance, specific gravity, pH, Titrations and refractive index measurements, Coating weight and adhesion testing -Execute various panel tests for corrosion resistance and coating performance. -Prepare internal lab samples -Maintain inventory of retained samples and manage rotation schedules. -Generate Certificates of Analysis and maintain accurate records of all testing activities. -Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal SOPs. -Assist chemists and technical staff with special projects under the direction of leadership. -Provide technical support for sales initiatives and customer projects.
